To commemorate the conclusion of this USAID-funded initiative supporting youth with learning, workforce skills, and opportunities in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC), I designed a visually compelling photobook featuring the work of a local Congolese youth photojournalist.
Her images authentically capture the project’s impact and provide a powerful glimpse into daily life in the DRC. To enhance engagement, I incorporated subtle animations, allowing viewers to immerse themselves in the stories at their own pace. The photobook was further promoted through social media, broadening its reach and impact.
In addition to the photobook, I designed a final report that served as a key deliverable to USAID, documenting the project’s outcomes and successes in a structured, visually engaging format.
Impact:
- Amplified youth voices by showcasing the work of a Congolese photojournalist, offering an authentic, local perspective.
- Increased engagement through interactive design and social media promotion, extending the reach of the project’s story.
- Enhanced storytelling by pairing powerful imagery with a structured final report, ensuring stakeholders fully grasp the initiative’s impact.
- Provided USAID with a compelling close-out deliverable that highlights both quantitative outcomes and the human stories behind them.
