First 10, a project of Education Development Center, brings together school districts, elementary schools, early childhood programs, and community agencies to improve the quality and coordination of education and care for young children and their families.
The logo design for First 10 visually captures the initiative’s mission of improving education and care for young children and their families. By incorporating the three core pillars—effective schools, strong families, and healthy communities—the logo serves as a powerful symbol of the collaborative framework that supports children during their first ten years. Designs also included sub-branding for the various communities where First 10 operates.
Impact:
This design not only reinforces the program’s values but also creates a memorable visual identity that strengthens brand recognition across various educational and community sectors. The cohesive visual representation helps communicate the initiative’s holistic approach, promoting a deeper connection with stakeholders and fostering a sense of unity among the diverse organizations working together to support the next generation. The logo’s simplicity and clarity make it adaptable for a range of materials, ensuring consistent messaging across the program’s communications.
