National Research Center identity

CAESART is a new national research and development center addressing the need for high-quality science instruction and assessment for young elementary-grade learners.

To create the identity, I first designed five logo concepts offering a flexible approach to visually represent the project, featuring diverse styles, taglines, color palettes, typography, and logo marks. The logo process closely involved the project team.

The chosen design reflects the project as a dynamic collection of scientific elements, including atoms, leaves, and roots/neurons. These symbols come together to form a cohesive circle, emphasizing the project as a central hub of knowledge and learning. The design balances the focus on early science learners with the seriousness of the work, appealing to educators, researchers, and policymakers alike. Also showing proposed report covers and Powerpoint template designs.
