UN Call for Creatives Activity Booklet
The coloring page was initially created as a submission to support social distancing and health messaging for Covid-19 from a United Nations Call for Creatives. Because there was such enthusiasm for the idea, we decided to turn it into a full-scale activity booklet and campaign geared towards children.
The idea was developed from a brainstorm session by the Chemonics communications team. Each designer took on creating their own superhero characters and designed two activities for the activity book. Each week, one activity was released and the designers created social media to promote the campaign which included photos of children completing the activity.
The campaign culminated in the release of the final activity booklet where we engaged our audience to send us photos of their children working on the activities. I worked on bringing together all the characters to create the cover of the booklet.
