The National Action Alliance for Suicide Prevention (Action Alliance) is the nation’s public-private partnership for suicide prevention, working with more than 250 national partners to advance the National Strategy for Suicide Prevention. I provided design and creative direction for two highly visible reports.
The Youth Mental Health Report
This report examines federal, state, and local efforts to enhance youth mental health services post-COVID. I collaborated closely with the team to design an interactive PDF with linked content, enabling seamless navigation and an intuitive reading experience.
Report reach:
- 12.2K impressions
- 700+ engagements
- 5.8% engagement rate
- 270+ post clicks

The Crisis Workforce Report
Focusing on recruitment, retention, and support, this strategy equips leaders with tools to sustain a strong crisis workforce. My design concept centered on directional arrows to represent these three key paths:
- Recruiting: Upward arrow symbolizing growth.
- Retaining: Diagonal arrow signifying stability.
- Supporting: Forward-facing arrow representing progress.
Distinct colors and arrow icons differentiate each focus area, serving as visual guideposts throughout the interactive document. Each section opens with a clear goal and a compelling image that reflects diverse aspects of the workforce.
Impact:
- Designed highly navigable and engaging interactive reports, improving accessibility for a broad audience.
- Strengthened the reports’ visual hierarchy, making complex strategies and findings easier to digest.
- Created a cohesive and consistent design language, reinforcing key themes and enhancing reader engagement.
- Provided tools that help leaders and policymakers take actionable steps in youth mental health and crisis workforce sustainability.
